DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the annual Forecasting event - this year ACEC/MN is hosting several state and federal agencies to present on their projected plans for the next 3-5 years. This is your opportunity to hear project and budget forecasts from key staff!\n\n\n\nConfirmed forecasting participants include:                                                       \n\n	Rene Helfin & Adam Gordon\, Metropolitan Council Environmental Services\n	Marc Partridge\, University of Minnesota\n	Michelle Gerner\, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities\n	Nick Thompson\, Metro Transit \n	Puneet Vedi\, Metropolitan Airports Commission\n	Ben Shardlow\, Minneapolis Downtown Council\n\nOther Invited Organizations:\n\n\n	Jim Sentz\, Army Corp of Engineers\n\nAttendees will learn about the following:\n\n\n	Current projects in the pipeline (buildings\, sewers\, streets\, vertical construction\, etc.)\n	Long-term construction plans (3-5 years)\n	Future challenges\n	New design standards\n	Changes to policies\n	Intergovernmental agreements\n\nThis event will be held online only via Zoom. The Zoom link is included in the confirmation email for this event.
