SUMMARY:ACEC/MN Photo Contest (2024-25)
DESCRIPTION:Members it's that time again\, the Photo Contest is back! \n\n\n\nWe want your high-resolution photo submissions - one winner in each of five categories will have their image framed and displayed in the ACEC/MN office for one year\, and all entrants will have their pictures featured on ACEC/MN webpages for the contest. Some photos may  also be featured in the ACEC/MN Newsletter.\n\n\n\nSee below for more details on categories\, entry cost\, guidelines\, and more:\n\n	All pictures should be high-resolution images that are ready to print in large format (300DPI or higher).\n	\n		Please submit images in *.JPG or *.PNG format.\n	\n	\n	Each firm may enter one picture in each category\n	Photos can be entered in these 5 categories:\n	\n		Building / Vertical Infrastructure Projects\n		Transportation\, Transit\, Aviation or other Horizontal Infrastructure Projects \n		Water\, Environmental\, Energy or Other Projects\n		Minnesota Landscapes\n		Human Interest / Other (The Photographic Society of America defines a human interest photograph as depicting "a person or persons in an interactive\, emotional or unusual situation.")\n	\n	\n	Photo entries are due by September 5th\, 2024\n	The cost for entries is $50. A discounted rate of $200 to enter a photo in all 5 categories is also available.\n\n Voting for photos will be conducted online and will be open September 16-20. Top finishers will be contacted the following week for final logistics. If for any reason the top-voted picture is not able to be printed at a sufficient quality level\, the next highest-voted image may be selected instead.\n\n\n\nGet your pictures in - you could be one of our 2024 winners!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBy entering the contest\, you grant ACEC Minnesota a royalty-free\, world-wide\, perpetual\, non-exclusive license to publicly display\, distribute\, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries\, in whole or in part\, in any media now existing or later developed\, for any purpose\, including\, but not limited to\, advertising and promotion of the photo contest and the ACEC/MN Newsletter.
