DESCRIPTION:Greetings ACEC/MN members\,\n\n \n\nPlease join us for another great Risk Management Committee meeting on Thursday\, July 11th\, 12-1:30PM at ACEC/MN's St. Paul Office\, located at 30 East 7th Street\, St. Paul\, MN 55101. This meeting will be held in the First Floor Training Center Board Room. We'll be announcing our topic shortly\, so please stay tuned.\n\n\n\nPlease feel free to register through this page and you will be added to the calendar notice for the committee meeting.\n\n\n\nThis is going to be a great meeting with an presentation on AI from Mark Blankenship\, Director of Risk Management for Willis Towers Watson A&E. See below for updated details on our presenter and topic.\n\n\n\nPlease join Mark Blankenship\, Director of Risk Management for WTW A&E and co-chair of the ACEC subcommittee on Artificial Intelligence\, for an interactive discussion on AI News You Can Use: A Survey of Tools and Recommended Practices.   We will begin by identifying some of the most useful AI tools available in the AEC space today\, as well as a resource which lists\, categorizes and ranks most of the available AI tools.  The program continues with a discussion of how the professional standard of care applies to design professionals in the context of AI and how to manage client expectations.  We will conclude with recommended guidelines for adoption of artificial intelligence in a design firm.\n\n \n\nMark Blankenship\, CPCU\, \n\nDirector of Risk Management for WTW A&E\n\nMark Blankenship uses his 25+ years of experience in A&E professional liability to provide risk management advice and educational presentations to architectural\, engineering and construction clients. In addition\, he provides contract review guidance and claims advocacy support.
