Significant time is spent discussing the steel corrosion process\, and modern methods of treatment and prevention\, including the use of cathodic protection and corrosion inhibiting admixtures. \n\n \n\nRepair Material Selection: Physical concrete repair material properties such as bond strength\, linear shrinkage\, and modulus of elasticity are discussed. Recommendations by the American Concrete Institute (ACI)\, International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and the Corps of Engineers regarding material selection are covered. We will also discuss modern concrete repair methods including\; surface prep techniques\, the use of bonding agents\, trowel applied repairs\, form and pour repairs\, and both wet and dry process shotcrete application of repair mortars.\n\n\n\nSpeaker(s): Matthew R.
