DESCRIPTION:Come learn from Euclid Chemical\, a leading manufacturer of synthetic fiber technologies for use in concrete.\n\nThis program will cover the different types of fiber reinforcing available on the market and uses. We'll discuss in detail the design of fiber reinforced concrete and proper specifications. The final portion of this program discusses fiber dosing and finishing techniques and references actual project scenarios where fiber technology has been used.\n\n \n\nThis seminar will cover the following topics of reinforced concrete:\n\n\n	Types & uses available\n	Design & proper specifications \n	Fiber dosing & finishing techniques\n	Project scenarios \n\n	 \n\nSpeaker(s): Matthew R. Hansen is a graduate of the University of Toledo\, Ohio. He has more than 25 years in successful experience in sales\, marketing and technical services within the concrete industry. He has been employed by the Euclid Chemical Company for over 15 years\, and currently holds the position of National Business Development Manager. Matthew is a member of the American Concrete Institute committees ACI 360 Design Slabs on Ground\, ACI 546 Repair of Concrete\, ACI 563 Specifications for Repair of Structural Buildings\, and the International Concrete Repair Institute committee 110 Guide Specifications.\n\n\n\nThis program is free to ACEC/MN members. Lunch is being provided by Euclid Chemical Company\n\n\n\n* NOTE: To the best of our knowledge\, this program meets the requirements of continuing education as outlined by the Minnesota Board of Registration and should count as 1.0 PDH or .1 CEU of development towards required continuing education credits.
