Description
This presentation will describe the Resilient Communities Project (RCP) program. The RCP is a multidisciplinary program at the U of MN that creates relationships connecting students and faculty with cities and counties in Minnesota to address their community-identified needs through course-based projects.
You will learn how the program works, provide an overview of RCP's current partnership with the City of Ramsey, and present example projects that demonstrate how students can help local communities address their sustainability and resilience needs while providing benefit to both the University and community partners. This program is designed to harness the underutilized source of knowledge, information and creativity University of Minnesota students and faculty can bring to make local communities in Minnesota more sustainable. You’ll learn about opportunities for members to partner with the program.
